I’ve known Huckle & Son for a long time as they have done quite a bit of work on Scarcliffe Grange for me a number of years ago. I retired from farming and was looking for somewhere to retire to which was more urban as I was used to living in the countryside. I purchased a house called Priory Cottage at Bawtry and employed Huckle & Son to completely renovate the house and build me a large workshop to the side. They sorted everything for me from start to finish and gave me good advice with certain aspects of the old cottage. Huckle & Son was a recommendation to me through word of mouth. I first looked at examples of their work, which they were very happy to show me and I got good feedback from their past clients. The price was competitive. I was looking for a builder which I could trust in my house and deal with everything for me i.e. building control e.t.c. The job was completed to a very high standard which myself and my wife were delighted with. I found David and William very easy to work with and very trustworthy. They have since renovated my garage and other works on my home and have also done a lot of commercial work for me at my factory building some offices.
